Phil has a Bachelor of Science specialising in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Microbiology specialising in Food Safety, Quality Management, and Microbiological Processes.
Phil has worked with various industries in Europe such as pharmaceutical plants, phytosanitary research centres and chocolatiers, as well as medical research.
He has worked here in New Zealand for the dairy industry in infant formula plants and in the food services industry.
Phil's expertise is in developing and improving HACCP based programmes for the Food Packaging Industry and Food Safety and Quality Management programmes and tools for various FMCG manufacturers and distributors under a wide variety of standards including WQA, FSP, FCP, ISO and RMP.
He can also perform second party audits and assist companies in the development of their labels under the Australia New Zealand Standard, Dietary Supplements Regulations and New Zealand Supplemented Food Standard 2013 as well as provide customised training to meet a wide range of industry and food service requirements.
