Recently a small number of clients have been having problems with their Windows 10 upgrade causing the machine to sleep and require their password after a very short time of inactivity.
After some independent research, one of our clever clients discovered a registry patch which enables a setting in Windows 7 to be visible again in the new Windows 10.
After running this patch the settings was shown to be at 2 minutes - much too low for normal use. So we increased the timeout settings, and now he can pour himself a coffee - WITHOUT having to log on again when he returns to his desk.
The registry patches and original information can be found here or email workshop@allsystemsgo.co.nz, us a call on 09 5574200 if your computer logs you off too quickly!
